Tahe Wind 585 - If the Taran is the European Sports car, the Wind 585 is the reliable V8 wagon. Solid as a rock with a load, with a terminal hull speed as high as a standard sea kayak shape goes, and nice sea manners. We thought this was primarily a fitness boat, but have since reconsidered it as a reliable & quick expedition boat, an awful lot of nicely constructed kayak for only $2990.
